My initial free consultation is 50 minutes in length. This free session begins when we get past the set up and technical aspects of a first call. If you want to consider you will already be dialed in. You will get the complete test drive. We will use this time to answer any and all of your questions as well as see if my practice is a good fit for you. You will have the option to conduct this on the phone or by video link. Either is fine. If you want the full experience I would suggest video. Prior to our first call I will need to get your email address so I can send you a link as well as a invitation to your patient portal. The portal will have in it practice documents you will need to complete, specifically a consent form for our sample session, and other forms for your completion if you decide to continue.
Although it is a sample session I will take it seriously and follow the necessary protocols to give you an experience you can make a decision over. It is appropriate for us to discuss what you are entering counseling for. The clearer you can be the better. I can therefore give you an idea of whether I can be of help to you or not. If I have not dealt with your situation before I will let you know and we will discuss this and perhaps make an appropriate referral.
